Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Our contact form (to request an appointment, for example) is HIPAA-compliant and hosted on an encrypted server with Paubox, Inc (5 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94103), a provider of secure email solutions for healthcare communications. Furthermore, when you submit the contact form, the communication is encrypted in transit by Paubox, Inc. as it is sent to a HIPAA-compliant Google Workspace account for San Francisco Psychiatrists, Inc. provided by Google, Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043). The Google Workspace account to which your communication is sent uses two-factor authentication for additional protection of your personal information.

Nevertheless, please note that any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the web site.

7. Updates and Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right, to add to, change, update or modify this Privacy Policy, by posting such change, update or modification on this Privacy Policy. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting.

8. Children Online Privacy Protection Act

We observe the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act which prohibits the collection of personal information from children under 13.

  • We do not specifically market to children under 13.
  • Use of our services is intended for parents and should not be used by anyone under the age of 13 without parental supervision.

9. For California Residents

California law provides California residents with additional rights regarding the use of their personal information. We are not subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 because we are a small business, and we do not buy, receive, sell or share consumer personal information for commercial purposes.
